Walt Disney World Jogging Trails

Getting in that magical run is easy with all of the Walt Disney World jogging trails available to resort guests!  Below is a list of the Disney Resort Hotels that offer jogging trails grouped together by their location.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resorts

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – While there is no official jogging trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kidani Village guests can jog the walking path between the resorts.

Jogging Trails at the Magic Kingdom Resorts

Those staying within the Magic Kingdom Resorts area will have several jogging trails. But these resorts have separate trails. Usually, you can connect the trails between the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Currently, that trail is closed with the construction of the new Disney’s Polynesian Village Tower between the resorts.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort guests can take advantage of the path along the resort’s shoreline that’s a total of 0.80 miles and makes a circle around the resort and then spams the shoreline of Seven Seas Lagoon.

Jogging at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

This trail is a 0.70-mile path one way making it 1.4 miles when you double back to return. It’s a beautiful walkway that’s quiet, except for when the Monorail occasionally passes above the trail.  Talk about a truly magical Disney moment while jogging!  Guests can also consider using the walking path between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom.  You may even see some deer at the right time!

Jogging at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s trail has a trail is approximately 0.89 miles long and loops around the resort and Bay Lake Tower. Extra fun part of this jogging trail?  You’ll find Mickey Mouse directionals indicating the path along the way.

Jogging at the Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has a small 0.5-mile trail that is a nature lovers paradise for its peaceful feel running through the wilderness.

Jogging at Fort Wilderness

If you want to run a long distance, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is the place to do it running up to 3.2 miles when you run the entire path.  While you will have to cross some resort roads throughout your run, it’s not congested. 

TIP- Save a few minutes to enjoy the horse stables!  Keeping in mind they are usually open until 5:00 p.m.


Jogging Trails at the Epcot Resorts

Guests enjoying a stay at any one of the resorts situated on Disney’s Boardwalk will be able to jog the combined trail around Crescent Lake. This unique trail loops the lake in front of Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club, and the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. Guests that are staying at Swan Reserve, Swan and Dolphin Hotels’ sister property across the street, can also easily take advantage of this running trail.

The jogging trail is 0.80 miles and you can also add distance by taking the one-way walking path to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and turning around when you want to return.  There is also a second jogging trail loops the parameters of the Epcot Resorts that is 2.4 miles long and runs along Epcot Resorts Boulevard.

TIP- This jogging path isn’t near as magical with the congestion of cars and buses. If you want a longer run use the trail around Crescent Lake and either double it or add in running to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.


Jogging Trails at the Disney’s Skyliner Resorts

Jogging at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort guests enjoy a jogging trail that circles Barefoot Bay. Running the entire distance of the lake this trail is approximately 1.25 miles long and will give you beautiful views of both resorts and the beach and lake.

Jogging at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Guests at these Disney value resorts can enjoy the jogging trail around Hourglass Lake.  The running trail is 1.3 miles and runners will have great views of these vibrant Disney resorts and Disney’s Skyliner!

While jogging on the Disney’s Art of Animation Resort side, you’ll run next to the resort’s Little Mermaid, Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars heavily themed areas. While on the Disney’s Pop Century side, you’ll run through the decades sections of the resort that boasts larger than life memorabilia from decades past.  During your run you’ll also pass signs that share fun facts. On the Disney’s Art of Animation side of the lake, the signs give information about the animated films that are highlighted throughout the resort.  While jogging on the Disney’s Pop Century side of the lake, the signs share interesting factoids from years gone by.

TIP—Make sure to bring your camera, there’s some great Disney photo ops, take a pic to remember your Disney jog!

Jogging Trails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resorts

The Animal Kingdom Resorts comprise the hotels closest to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Running Trail at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort’s running trail loops around Lago Dorado, the resort’s lake. You’ll have two options to run, a 0.75-mile and a 1-mile option.

Jogging at Disney’s All-Star Resorts

Disney’s All-Star Resorts guests can jog the path in front of the three resorts. As it’s a one-way trail the distance will change depending on where you stop and finish. You will also have to cross a few intersections between the resorts.


Jogging Trails at the Disney Springs Resorts

The Disney Springs area resorts have the longest trails, besides Disney’s Fort Wilderness.

Running Trail at Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts

Guests of Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter guests can take the combined running trail between these sister resorts. They’ll enjoy  a peaceful trail running along the Pascagoula River. This trail is up to 1.7 miles long.

Jogging Trail at Disney’s Old Key West Resort

Guests of Disney’s Old Key West can jog the 1.4-mile trail  and will have unparalleled views of the resort and Disney’s Lake Buena Vista golf course.

Jogging Trail at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has both a 0.8-mile trail and a 1.4-mile trail running the lake facing Disney Springs. Those looking for a longer run will also find a longer trail that starts directly behind the golf course at The Springs section of Disney Springs. On the Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa side, it’s called the Saratoga Springs Wildlife Trail. On the Disney’s Old Key West Resort side, it’s called the Conch Flats Trail.
