EXAMPLE- if you book a 6-night package with a Disney Dining Plan, each Guest (ages 3 and up) in your party would receive 6 Table-Service meals, 6 Quick-Service meals and 4 snacks or nonalcoholic beverages. During your 6-night stay, guests can use dining credits however they would like to.

Important Information About The Disney Dining Plans

  • Each meal includes a beverage. Those Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Any Guests 21 and older with valid identification may also choose beer, wine and cocktails.
  • The plan is for the entire length of stay and for everyone in the party (ages 3 and up).
  • The dining plan starts as soon as you check into your resort. In addition, credits are available until midnight on the day of check-out.
  • Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on day of checkout.
  • Advanced Dining Reservations are highly recommended at many of the participating table service restaurants.   You can find a list of restaurants that require a dining reservation here.
  • Disney Dining Plans are not available for children under three. Children (aged 3-9) must purchase the child’s dining plan and in many cases, order from the children’s menu when available. Adults (age 10 and over) must purchase the adult plan.
  • Refillable mugs offering unlimited refills are valid only during package stay at Quick-Service locations at your Disney Resort hotel. Keep in mind, there are no refilling stations at the theme parks.

How do I Use My Dining Credits?

The Disney Dining Plans are very convenient because dining plan credits are loaded onto a guest’s MagicBand or Resort room key.  At the restaurant check out, guests simply give their MagicBand or room key to the cast member to “pay” for the meals using their dining plan.  Their dining credits are then subtracted from the available credits.  Guests will receive a receipt indicating the remaining meal credit balances.

Using and tracking the dining plan is even easier when you use the My Disney Experience app. Also, locations that use mobile ordering now allow you to use the Dining Plan through the app.   Guests can check their remaining dining credits at any time through the “My Resort Stay” section of the app.

Why Might a Disney Dining Plan be great for my vacation?

  • Dining Plans are flexible – choose the plan that works for you and choose how to use your dining credits. Most importantly, guests can use meals and snack credits in any combination until they deplete the total allotment of entitlements.
  • The ”all inclusive” feel of having your dining already paid for- Disney’s Dining Plans give you the option to pay the majority of your dining expense in advance.
  • Save Money Using Disney Dining Plans-With a little planning, the potential for dining savings during your Walt Disney World vacation is great! Enlist a great travel advisor who can help in deciding if adding a Disney dining plan  to your vacation could save you money!
  • Guests can use left over snack entitlements to purchase drinks and snacks for the trip home.
