  • Transportation: The major advantage of this resort is that Magic Kingdom can also be accessed via pedestrian walkway (it’s about a 10-15 minute walk) or monorail via the station on the second floor in the Main Building, or a ferry boat. The same Monorail can be also be used to ride to the Transportation And Ticket Center, here guests can transfer to another Monorail and ride to the front gate of Epcot.
  • Disney provides bus service from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Springs. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s bus stops sit along the front wall of the lobby, between the lobby and check- in parking lot. Each theme park has its own bus stop somewhere along the wall. Animal Kingdom’s bus service is shared with Blizzard Beach, while Disney Springs and Typhoon Lagoon also share a stop and service.
  • Check-in time 3:00 PM, Check-out time 11:00 AM. 
  • Location: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is in the Magic Kingdom resort area between ZMagic Kingdom and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It’s just across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom.
  • Laundry facilities – There are on site washers and dryers available for guest use.

Outer Building Lagoon View Room

The resort has two categories of rooms: Main Building and Outer Building.

The outer building has the following views:

  • Theme Park View:  Views of Magic Kingdom Park – 1 King Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa or 2 Queen Beds or 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed
  • Garden View:  Views of the Courtyard, Marina or Pool Area– 1 King Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa or 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed or 2 Queen Beds or 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed

Concierge (Club) Level Rooms

  • At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa there are two concierge lounges. The first is called the The Royal Palm Club, and it’s located on the fourth floor of the Main Building. A second concierge lounge is located in the Sugar Loaf Key building of the resort. This lounge has amenities and services similar to Royal Palm Club in the Main Building.
  • Guests are treated to special services including a lounge/club, complimentary food and drink, and personalized service. There are about 175 Royal Palm Club rooms and around 90 Sugar Loaf Key rooms, most of which are similar to regular rooms throughout the resort, but there are also suites available. Club level prices can start at $150 more than standard rooms at the Grand Floridian.
  • Upon arriving to Grand Floridian, concierge guests are taken to an exclusive area to be checked in and taken care of. Once guests are brought to the club level, they will be introduced to the cast members on hand to be the resource for any special services they may need including advanced dining reservations, park tickets, and transportation options.
  • Another special service provided to concierge level guests is a nightly turn down. Housekeeping cast members come to your room in the evening to prepare your bed and leave chocolates.
  • A more exciting benefit to staying club level is access to free food for most of the day. There are breakfast options in the morning, snacks are available along with an assortment of drinks including soda, hot drinks like coffee, and beer throughout the day and in the late afternoon/early evening appetizers are put out for guests. Wine and liqueurs along with desserts are served throughout the evening as well.
  • The selection of food and drink laid out in the lounges is only accessible to club level guests. There are several tables and chairs set up for folks to use throughout the day. Kids have their own area here with child sized table and chairs and a TV running cartoons and other Disney favorites.

Club Level Rooms Available

There are standard rooms as well as 1 and bedroom suites available in both the main building and outer building, Sugar Loaf.


Resort Pools

Grand Floridian has two pools. The Courtyard Pool, sits east of Grand Floridian’s Main Building. There is also a hot tub, kiddie pool and water play area.

The other pool, the Beach Pool is located between the Main Building and the Villas. The Beach Pool is a 111,261-gallon pool overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. Its main feature is a 181-foot water slide.

The Beach Pool also has cabanas available for rent.


Dining Options

Grand Floridian has a number of fine dining options available, including Walt Disney World’s flagship signature restaurant Victoria & Albert’s.

  • Cítricos – Dine underneath the lovely London sky in this newly re-imagined restaurant inspired by Mary Poppins Returns.
  • Grand Floridian Cafe
  • Narcoossee’s – an upscale, yet casual, seafood restaurant 
  • 1900 Park Fare (Temporarily closed)
  • Garden View Tea Room (Temporarily closed)
  • The Enchanted Rose – located on the second floor in the Main Building. Enchanted Rose has indoor seating and a full drink menu, with several beers, wines, and a selection of spirits. The lounge is usually open 4 PM to 10 PM daily.

Gasparillas Island Grill- order your “quick service” meal via the app beforehand for easy pick up. Offering burgers, pizza and and grilled cheese.

The Courtyard Pool Bar is located adjacent to the Courtyard Pool at the Grand Floridian. It has a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails and a small menu of burgers, flat bread pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts is available. 

Beaches Pool Bar and Grill is located next to the Beach Pool and boats a selection of alcoholic beverages and a dining menu of burgers, sushi, and salad.

Choose from Guided Bass Fishing Excursions, which includes a 21-foot Sun Tracker pontoon boat that can accommodate up to 5 Guests, and a tournament-style NITRO® bass fishing boat for up to 3 Guests. Both 2-hour and 4-hour excursions are offered, and if available, an extra hour may be added in person at the Marina. Solo anglers may book an afternoon excursion at a reduced rate.

All Walt Disney World Resort fishing excursions include: An experienced guide, Rod and reel, Tackle, Artificial and/or live bait (NITRO boats will not offer live bait,) Non-alcoholic beverages only (Guests may not bring alcoholic beverages aboard.)

  • Jogging Trail –Enjoy views of Magic Kingdom park, Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and more as you jog along the lagoon
  • Volleyball- Enjoy a friendly volleyball match on a sandy court located between the Hawaii and Tahiti buildings
