Walt Disney World Skyliner

Dubbed by Disney as the “most magical flight on Earth,” the Walt Disney World Skyliner connects EPCOT and Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.  Opening in fall of 2019, the Skyliner has given a quick and convenient mode of transportation to guests vising Walt Disney World.

Nearly half of the Disney Skyliner cabins are wrapped in Disney scenes with beloved characters, favorite movies, attractions and more.  You’ll find gondolas with all of Mickey and the gang, as well as characters from “Zootopia,” “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” “Moana,” “Finding Dory,” the Haunted Mansion Pirates of the Caribbean” with many more all showcased.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort’s Skyliner station serves as the main HUB. From the Caribbean Beach Resort Skyliner station, you can take the ride to EPCOT via Disney’s Riviera Resort, to Art of Animation/Pop Century Resort, or to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. All lines originate at Caribbean Beach Resort’s station.  Depending on your anticipated final destination, you may have to switch Skyliner tracks.

The Disney Skyliner cabins are accessible to guests in wheelchairs and ECVs as well. A Cast Member will guide you into the gondola and once you’re set, they will place chocks behind the wheels to keep your scooter or wheelchair in place during your flight.  Single strollers can be rolled on to your gondola; however, wider double and larger strollers will need to be folded up.

The gondolas are not air-conditioned, but there are reflective panels to avoid direct sunlight and cross-ventilation windows that allow for airflow, which you can close or open as needed.  Each gondola has bench-style seating that fits a maximum of 10 people or up to six guests if you’re riding a wheelchair-accessible gondola.

Here is a list of how long you can anticipate your next Skyliner ride to be.

  1. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 5-6 minutes
  2. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Pop Century Resort or Disney’s Art of Animation Resort: under 6 minutes
  3. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Riviera Resort: about 5 minutes
  4. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to International Gateway at Epcot: approximately 15 minutes
    1. Disney’s Riviera Resort to International Gateway at Epcot: approximately 9 minutes
