Spreading Kindness at WDW

Today is World Kindness Day and I want to share with you some acts for spreading kindness at Walt Disney World! Just these small, simple acts can make such a huge impact on someone’s day or potentially someone’s vacation.  Here are 15 small acts of kindness to try on your next vacation at Disney World:

1.) Pick up litter you see on the ground.

2.) Gift someone who makes you smile a $5 or $10 gift card.

3.) Give cast members or wait staff at restaurants thank you notes or express gratitude to them for serving you.

4.) Thank the custodial staff for keeping the parks nice and clean.

5.) Find opportunities to give someone a compliment.

6.) Smile at everyone you make eye contact with.

7.) Hold doors open for the people behind you, especially those on scooters or with strollers.

8.) Pack extra ponchos and offer them to guests caught in the rain without one.

9.) If you see a small child with a guardian behind you waiting for the restroom, let them go first.

10.) Give directions to someone who seems lost.

11.) If you purchase a balloon, gift it to a smile child when you are leaving the parks.

12.) Leave compliment cards for cast members at city hall.

13.) Send thank you messages for cast members on twitter to @WDWToday with the hashtag #castcompliment.

14.) Give or trade pins with guests.

15.) Buy a snack for someone in line behind you.

Kindness can go a long way and at Disney World, spreading kindness will make you a part of the magic!

If you would like to be a part of the magic at Disney World but have questions or need assistance with booking your next WDW vacation, send an e-mail to [email protected].
