Walt Disney World’s Beach Club Villas
We recently had a family vacation at Walt Disney World’s Beach Club Villas.
We loved this resort for a number of reasons and will definitely be returning! Here are a few of the experiences that stood out for us:
The Resort Room- With light and airy decor, beautiful faux wood floors and an overall fresh feeling, the room gives you a relaxed and clean feeling right from the start. As a food allergy mama I am over the top with my cleanliness expectations and I was very happy with the shape this room was in! There was a 3 seater table and a 2 seater counter for dining. The bathroom was split into a toilet and shower in one space and a vanity and tub in another. This split was very convenient for having plenty of space to get everyone ready. Lastly, the King bed in the bedroom was a dream to sleep on.
Dining Options- We had so many choices for close to home dining at this resort. A grab and go plus hot bakery items market was mere steps from the villa building and we could get drinks for our refillable mugs too. Another hot food and prepared item market was open in the Yacht Club which is attached to the Beach Club building. Here we found sandwiches, delicious breakfast options, salads and drinks of all kinds. They even had a handful of allergy friendly snack and dessert items on display! A delicious ice cream shop, Beaches and Cream is next to the pool where you can grab hot food items and one of a kind cold treats. If we felt like a couple minute walk, we could easily travel over to the Boardwalk pizza window and carry home a pie to share.
The Pool- Stormalong Bay pool is legendary in Disney and one of the most unique and family friendly swimming spots in all the resorts. With a huge water slide, lazy river and sand bottom spanning across three pool sections, there is no end to the fun for everyone! Also, this pool does not qualify for hopping and is exclusively for the use of Beach and Yacht Club guests which cuts down on crowding.
We had a wonderful experience at Walt Disney World’s Beach Club Villas and would happily recommend it to others!
