Know Before You Go

  • Transportation :  Disney Skyliner Transportation- connecting Guests to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from select Disney Resort hotels.

Disney Bus Transportation- Takes guests to theme parks, water parks, and the Disney Springs area. The bus stop at Disney’s Pop Century Resort is located outside Classic Hall.

  • Check-in time 3:00 PM, Check-out time 11:00 AM. 
  • Location: Disney’s Art of Animation is located close to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and just south of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and next to the Disney’s Pop Century.
  • Laundry facilities are next to each pool. Cost is $3 per wash, and another $3 per dry cycle. The machines take credit cards. A small selection of soap, fabric softener, and dryer sheets are also sold, for around $1 each. A typical wash cycle takes 20 to 30 minutes, and a typical dry cycle takes 40 to 50. F
  • Yes, there is an Elevator
  • Dog Friendly Resort : For a nightly fee of $50 on top of the room charge, up to 2 dogs are allowed in some rooms. A check-in package of dog-friendly items comes with the extra fee. Keep in mind, housekeeping will only enter the room while the human guests are present, special Do Not Disturb tags are mandatory, and guests may be called to come to their room if the dog is being too noisy.

Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Each Art of Animation family suite is furnished with the following:

  • Master bedroom with queen-sized bed
  • Pull-out couch
  • Table which pulls down to convert to a full-sized bed
  • Four chairs
  • Open hanging space
  • Dresser with drawers
  • Full-length mirror (on bath door)
  • Wireless Internet (WiFi)
  • Flat-panel TV
  • Mini-fridge
  • Microwave oven
  • Coffee maker and starter supply of coffee pods
  • Starter supply of disposable kitchenware: paper plates, bowls, and cups; plastic forks, knives, and spoons

Family suites have two bathrooms. One is small and functional, nearly identical to the bathrooms in the standard rooms. The master bathroom is spacious, with a large glass-door shower.


Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Aesthetics

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is split up in to 4 distinct areas modeled after some of your favorite Disney movies: Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Cars and The Little Mermaid. Each different section of the resort will showcase elaborate theming and photo props. You will find the Finding Nemo themed section to be closest to the lobby and dining, whereas the standard themed Little Mermaid rooms will be the farthest from the action.

Pools

There are three pools. The Big Blue Pool, inspired by the Disney and Pixar movie Finding Nemo is the largest pool in WDW. You’ll also find an interactive water play area, perfect for the little ones. Two more pools—the Cozy Cone Pool, inspired by the Disney and Pixar film Cars, and Flippin’ Fins Pool, featuring the “Under the Sea Orchestra” conducted by Sebastian from The Little Mermaid—are also available to all guests.

Resort Amenities

  • Ink and Paint Gift Shop  – offers Disney merchandise and essentials for purchase
  • Movies Under the Stars are free movies shown on certain nights on the grassy area found between The Lion King building and Finding Nemo building. Grab an itinerary at check in for information on what movies are playing.
  • Children can climb and slide at Righteous Reef playground, located in the Finding Nemo courtyard.
  • Start your day off with a jog on the 1.38 mile trail.
  • Pixel Play Arcade is the home of games both old and new. Located in the Animation Hall Building, it’s a great place to hang out on a rainy or non-park day.
